Far Country

Why we are called Far Country

“And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country.” — Luke 15:13

The prodigal left for a far country — and the whole story is about the long road home, and a father who runs to meet him. It is a picture of all of us: a little lost, a long way off, and welcomed back anyway. That is where our name comes from, and it is the heart of everything we make.

What we make

Every Far Country design is drawn from a parable of Jesus — the sower, the lost sheep, the prodigal, the hidden treasure, the good Samaritan. We render each one in detailed, vintage-engraved artwork and pair it with the scripture behind it.

These are not slogans printed on a blank tee. They are stories you can wear — the kind that start conversations at the coffee shop, the gym, or across the dinner table.

How it is made

We print on heavyweight, garment-dyed Comfort Colors blanks — soft, pre-shrunk, with that broken-in feel from the very first wear. Every piece is made to order and shipped from the United States.

That means no warehouse of unsold inventory and nothing sent to a landfill. Each shirt is printed because someone actually wanted it — made one at a time, the slow way, on purpose.

Why it matters

We believe clothing can carry more than a brand name. The parables have been teaching, convicting, and comforting people for two thousand years — and they still do. A good story, worn well, invites a question. A question opens a door.

We are all just passing through. Wear the parable. Start the conversation.
